This is How Pentecostalism Destroys Our Families

This is How Pentecostalism Destroys Our Families

I think this is a very important topic. Let’s run through the questions and see if we can generate discussion and possible solutions. You can answer as many as you like.

Has Pentecostalism caused a divorce in your family?

Has Pentecostalism caused your kids to break off contact with you?

Has Pentecostalism caused your parents to break off contact with you?

Has your pastor caused your family to break up?

Has your pastor increased the arguments between you and your spouse or kids or parents?

Has Pentecostalism broken strong ties with your extended family such as aunts, uncles, grandparents, or grandchildren? How?

Has your pastor or anyone in authority in your former churches committed adultery with anyone in your family? Have they committed adultery with anyone in the church and in the process destroy any families?

Have any pastors or anyone in church authority try to take advantage of young girls sexually – or girls too young to understand the deviousness of older men looking for young meat?

Have you mended any of the damage that Pentecostalism has caused your family? How?

Do you have plans to mend the damage to your family? What are they?

Let’s roll with answers and options. Let’s help each other out here!

my neice is in a damn crazyassed pc, she wont cut her hair, wears dresses all the time , only has any thing to do with people in the church. This is a common problem in the south, ive just never really talked about it except to my husband. I feel shes wasting her life away, i know she is. And her mother goes along with it cause its a church.

Yes the upc or upci or the wwpc what ever they call them self's these days! do cause problems with these issues and many more, they put so much fear in a person, there afraid to do anything ( its fear from man not God) They Manipulate, intimidate people to do what they want them to do and God forbid you have gifts from God, man some hate that!!! There is always a person that takes charge of everything in the church and has the say so usually a women, this spirit is called Jezebel look into it...( The Spirit of Jezebel) there is books out there to read. I used to be in the upc for about 15 years my sister was in for about 25 years, the upc did so much damage to my sister and her daughter they are still damaged from it and they have been out of the upc for 4 years and are still getting healed from all the damage to there hearts( Thank God) They are always saying people are going to go to hell if they don't change what ever, man they judge so much, that's Gods place not theirs they are putting themselves in the place of GOD. I have heard so much of people judging others even in the church i couldn't stand it anymore and there is so much jealousy man its bad. I could go on an on there is so much and many secrets, they keep many things a secret and why?????

Penecostalism has made things very chaotic and difficult in my home. Constant fighting and profanity. They think anything can have a spirit. If there is a tshirt with a skull on it, they think it brings in the devil. Very strange stuff. Everything is annointed, even people, against their will. Even when its the person who is pentecostal who is causing the chaos in the home. They blame "the enemy" and evil spirits for them acting so cruelly. No one at the AoG here church wears only looong dresses and doesnt cut their hair though. People look normal. The key word being look.

We have huge problems with Pentecostals at work, they yell their way to win an argument about christian views, they have a pevers view of the bible. Criticise anyone else view on christianity. It is very warped, not what Jesus would have wanted at all.

What a mess: can answer yes to all but one question. The shameful thing is the moment I realized it, I wanted to say the enemy made those things happen.

Funny, old habits die hard.
